The most thoughtfully designed stools on the planet.

We agree that it's a big statement from a small company, and sure, someone could have put a lot of thought into designing a wooden and metal stool, but not more than we have. We are woodworkers at heart, but have spent more than two years developing skills in computer-aided design, metal working and powder coating and we have spent countless hours of research, planning and lots and lots of trial and error.

We only know one way to tell if a stool seat feels comfortable; have everyone we know (and some we just met) sit down and ask them for their feedback. So we did. We integrated their recommendations, modified our design and processes, and solicited more and more feedback. Somewhere along the way we discovered what comfortable seating feels like and what features a supporting base should have. We combined these findings into a finished product and we’re very confident that you’ll love the way our stools look, feel, and function.

Are you looking for something custom?

We can customize our stools to fit your needs. Here are some examples of what we can do - use different wood species for the seat; apply custom stains to the seat to match cabinetry and/or flooring; and/or use different colors/metal tones for the stool base. We generally can honor any request.
